Quick math shows us that over 364 homes and condos were sold in the cities listed above for Baldwin County last month. This data doesn’t include the smaller towns of our area, commercial properties, or land. These figures include residential dwellings only.  You can tell by looking at the selling to listing price ratio that Baldwin County is still in a buyer’s market.  That just means that there are more properties on the market than there are buyers.  However, you can also tell that the real estate market is strong by the number of properties that were sold in what is considered an off season month.

Re-cap based on last month’s figures:

– If you’re buying a condo, Gulf Shores units are selling for $51 per foot less than their sister city Orange Beach.

– For Gulf Coast single family homes, property in Foley is roughly $80 per foot cheaper than that of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach.

– For single family homes on the Eastern Shore, Daphne real estate has the lowest price per foot at $109; the next lowest is Spanish Fort, and Fairhope comes in at the highest.
