DR Horton Neighborhoods - Baldwin County

For the purposes of this article, you will find all of the neighborhoods in Baldwin County where you will find homes built by DR Horton.  The focus will be on the 6 major cities of the county including Spanish Fort, Daphne, Fairhope, Foley, Gulf Shores, and Orange Beach.

My name is Jeff Nelson and I’m a Realtor with IXL Real Estate.  I’ve been selling homes for over 13 years and have hundreds of closings “under my belt”.  I wanted to preface the following article because I do not work for DR Horton.  I am not a listing agent for any of their homes.  However, I would work as a buyer’s agent for any of the homes that they build.

I’m featuring DR Horton simply because they build a great product at a reasonable price. 

I’ll talk more about Buyer’s Agency at the end of this article but for now, let’s take a look at the many neighborhoods where you can find DR Horton homes for sale.

DR Horton has a number of brands as well that focus on different features:

  • Express Homes – The main focus of this brand is to provide a brand new home that is affordable.
  • Freedom Homes – Homes designed for those who are 55 and older.
  • Emerald Homes – Here you will find homes that are built with luxury in mind with higher end features and functionality.

If you walk into a model home you are dealing with the Realtor of the seller (builder).  That Realtor will not be looking out for your best interest but for the interest of the seller.
